Over recent years our school has invested heavily in technology in the areas of iPads, apps, computer software, communication (text a Parent), recording attendance (Aladdin), a new photocopiers and interactive whiteboards in all classes. We have embraced technology in many ways in our school and also as part of our Ballyfinane’s N.S. Self-Evaluation.
Teachers and pupils are using technology in a variety of ways in our school. Each class has an interactive whiteboard, printer and access to a variety of interactive resources, laptops and apps on our iPads. In addition to the wide range of software programmes used pupils are encouraged to develop their ICT skills through scratch, typing programmes and the variety of apps for the different class levels and different subjects.
